Cat days of summer

Beaumont Animal Care (BAC), 1884 Pine St. in Beaumont, is hosting a month-long initiative to adopt out as many of the shelter’s 40 cats as possible during June’s Adopt-A-Cat month.

BAC reducing the fee for all cats and kittens to $20 for the entire month of June, and guarantee that there are so many friendly felines at the shelter that you’re sure to find one to fit any home. The reduced fee will include the animal’s spay/neuter, microchip, first set of vaccines, flea prevention and dewormer.

BAC hours are Tuesday-Friday, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., and Saturdays, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. To see the available cats ahead of time, visit the BAC website under “Felines of Beaumont Animal Care.” For questions, call BAC at (409) 838-3304.
