Lamar University is hosting its fourth juried art exhibition for alumni titled “After School Special,” on display at the Dishman Art Museum from June 24-July 30. An opening reception will be held Friday, June 24, 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. Register to attend the opening reception at www.lamar.edu/alumniart. This show is free and open to the public.
Lynn Castle, Executive Director of the Art Museum of Southeast Texas, served as the juror for the show. Featured artists include Greg Busceme ’79, Elizabeth Fontenot ’13, Sunni Forcier ’15, Audra LaCour ’16, Justin LeBlanc ’10, Amy Richard ’84, and Justin Varner ’05.
The Dishman Art Museum is open Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. and Saturdays 12 p.m. – 4 p.m. After School Special is presented by the Lamar University Dishman Art Museum in collaboration with the Office of Alumni Affairs.
