Beaumont's Ford Arena was the home of Monster Nation's 20th anniversary tour March 8-9, which included big trucks Tailgator, Dirt Crew, Dozer, Maximus, Block Head and The Veteran competing as well at FMX motocross superstars flying through the air.

Monster Nation also honored new recruits sworn into the U.S. Army. In addition to swearing in the recruits, the U.S. Army commissioned Sgt. Luis Garza Zuniga for his indefinite reenlistment. Zuniga, who is currently serving as the station commander at the Crossroads Recruiting Station in Beaumont, has served 15 years of active-duty service and has had three combat tours as an infantry soldier - Iraq in 2009, Afghanistan in 2012, and Afghanistan again in 2020.
