The Symphony League of Beaumont held their annual Belle Ball last Saturday evening. Belle chairs Tara Audilet and Mellie Bevilacqua did a wonderful job orchestrating all the activities for both the Belles and Beaus. Ball chair Lauren Martin has received reviews for the incredible a transformation of the Civic Center into a lush English garden with the theme, “Bloom Where You Are Planted.” It was truly an evening of “bragging rights” for grandparents, parents and siblings of the honorees as they all shined bright throughout the evening. A fan fav of the evening is the mother/son and father/daughter dance, which kicks off the dance floor participation. Another highlight of the evening was the presentation of the precious Flower Belles (many are the younger sisters of the Belles and Beaus). In the mix were Layla Anders, Lillian Cavett, Georgia Cobb, Nixon Collins, Elisabeth Hall, Gentry Hoffpauir, Audrey Hurburt, Elizabeth Jackson, Gabriella Jaynes, Katherine Maloney, Adrienne Mathews, Madeline Mathews, Mary Morrell, Hazel Smith, Lillian Snider, Margeaux Stevens, Genevieve Strahan and Susannah Strahan. Once again, Carol Smith did a tremendous job coordinating the presentation.
