The Bassmaster Elite Series returns to the Sabine River on June 1-4 in conjunction with the Orange County River Festival will welcome more than. 40,000 spectators through the weekend, which is filled with family fun, food, and plenty of live music.

The Orange Boat Ramp (408 Pier Road) will be the center of all the attention. Daily fish weigh ins begin at 3 p.m. A kids’ zone is open 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and noon to 3 p.m. on Sunday. Kiddos can also partake in a kids’ fish tank from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Scheduled to perform on stage Thursday, June 1, is local country singer Casey Chesnutt at 7 p.m. Eighties tribute band, “The Molly Ringwalds” will headline on Friday, June, 2, at 8 p.m. They dazzle and engage their audiences with energy and passion, while taking them on a musical journey filled with all the hits that transcended the ‘80s and defined a generation.

Saturday’s lineup includes country musician Cole Whittlesey at 6:30 p.m. followed by Texas country stars the Randy Rogers Band at 8 p.m.

In a business where bands come and go and membership is often a revolving door, the Randy Rogers Band has been together for more than 17 years. The band has recorded seven studio albums and two live albums, and have charted seven singles, including “Tonight’s Not the Night,” “Down and Out,” “Kiss Me in the Dark,” “Too Late for Goodbye” and “One More Sad Song.”
