It’s a special Valentine’s Day edition of Classic Movie Night at the historic Jefferson Theatre on Monday, Feb. 14, at 7 p.m. with the 1989 romance comedy, “When Harry Met Sally.”

In 1977, college graduates Harry Burns (Billy Crystal) and Sally Albright (Meg Ryan) share a contentious car ride from Chicago to New York, during which they argue about whether men and women can ever truly be strictly platonic friends. Ten years later, Harry and Sally meet again at a bookstore, and in the company of their respective best friends, Jess (Bruno Kirby) and Marie (Carrie Fisher), attempt to stay friends without sex becoming an issue between them.

The movie, which is Rated R and is 1 hour and 35 minutes in length, is ranked No. 23 on AFI’s “100 Years… 100 Laughs” list of top comedy films in American cinema and No. 60 on Bravo’s “100 Funniest Movies.”

Tickets are $6 and can be purchased online at beaumonteventstx.com. The first 50 people inside the Jefferson (345 Fannin St.) will receive a complimentary rose. The Curators will also perform live music plus food will be available for purchased from Winbush’s Divine Flavors food truck, chocolates and wine by McMorris Events as well as an exclusive Valentine’s Day Jefferson Theatre sticker.
