Beaumont ISD’s Communication team released word Monday, Dec. 5, that administration received allegations earlier the same day that a Beaumont United High School employee “engaged in an inappropriate relationship with a student.”
Citing “the ongoing nature of the investigation and confidentiality laws,” BISD reports that it “is prohibited from disclosing more information.”
What the district did report, however, was that: “Upon receipt, the District immediately notified the BISD Police Department and the employee is no longer affiliated with Beaumont ISD.”
Additionally, the Beaumont ISD information release stated: “District and campus administrators want to assure parents and the community that Beaumont ISD does not tolerate any behavior of this nature and would like to remind all students and staff that if they are aware of an incident or inappropriate conduct to report it immediately.”
