Men shot in Orange

Three men were shot in Orange over the holiday.

Christmas Eve, Saturday, Dec. 24, officers with the city of Orange Police Department were dispatched to 2108 Link Avenue in reference to a welfare check. Upon arrival, a deceased male with multiple gunshot wounds was located inside a vehicle in the driveway of the residence. The decedent was identified as Asif Imran, a 26-year-old resident of Orange. An autopsy was ordered by Judge Jenkins.

Two days earlier, Dec. 22, just before 2:30 a.m., officers from the Orange Police Department were dispatched to 3751 Hemlock in reference to a disturbance. Upon arrival, officers located a black male with several gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to the hospital and the Orange Police Department Detective Division is actively investigating the circumstances of this case. No arrests were reported as of press time.

Two days before that, on Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2022, Orange PD officers were dispatched to the 2300 block of Pacific in reference to a gunshot victim. Upon arrival, 30-year-old Rodrick Williams was located with a gunshot wound. He was transported to a nearby hospital and is listed in stable condition. The investigation is ongoing.
