A man found dead in a bayou was reportedly killed by an alligator near Buckart's Marina in Orange in the early morning hours of July 3, reports the Orange Police Department.

Police in Orange are searching for an armed robbery suspect caught on tape while holding up Sun Loan, located at 1104 16th St., on June 30.

According to a news release from the Orange Police Department, officers responded to the robbery at 3:38 p.m. A black male suspect reportedly entered the business armed with a rifle and demanded money. A patrol officer in Orange called for backup Sunday evening after his attempt to cite a local resident for loud music got complicated, resulting in two arrests.

According to a report from OPD Officer Michael Roush, as he was patrolling April 26 at about 7:05 p.m. in the area of 2nd Street and Turret Avenue, he saw a Ford Expedition with the windows down and heard loud music blaring from the vehicle.
