BEAUMONT, Texas – A 29-year-old Port Arthur, Texas man has been sentenced to federal prison for drug and gun violations as a result of Operation Time Machine in the Eastern District of Texas announced U.S. Attorney John M. Bales today.

        BEAUMONT, Texas – A 41-year-old Grayson, Georgia man has been sentenced for hurricane-related fraud in the Eastern District of Texas announced U.S. Attorney John M. Bales today.

Morris Joseph pleaded guilty on Aug. 26, 2010, to making a false claim and was sentenced to two years probation and ordered to pay $18,188.84 in restitution by U.S. District Judge Ron Clark on Mar. 22, 2011.

On the weekend of the ‘super’ full moon, escape artists, mind readers and ghoul gurus from far and wide were in Beaumont for the Texas Ghost Show on Saturday, March 19.  The event is one of the largest paranormal conventions in the nation after only it’s second year.
