Jasper County District Attorney Anne Pickle stated her office is ready to prosecute Adam Isaacks, the former Evadale Little League president accused of sexual crimes against children, reported KJAS.com. Pickle said jury selection is scheduled to begin on Monday, Nov. 14, in the Jasper County Courthouse.

Isaacks, 39, of Silsbee, was arrested on Dec. 31, 2021, and he remains in the Jasper County Jail under a total bond of $7 million. Investigators say Isaacks is accused of sexually abusing baseball players, as young as 7 years old, during trips and other outings.

According to Pickle, Isaacks will be tried on one count of indecency with a child and one count of aggravated sexual assault of a child, with both cases involving separate victims.

He has also been indicted on the same charges in Sabine County.

Pickle reported Isaacks is represented by Center attorney Stephen Shires, who recently represented Royce Larkin who was tried and convicted in the murder of Jasper teacher Judy McKinney Arnold.

Pickle added a judge has not yet been assigned to preside over the trial.

There is also civil litigation involved as the Bernsen Law Firm in Beaumont filed a lawsuit on behalf of the alleged victims and their families against Isaacks, Little League Baseball Inc., Evadale Little League Baseball, Texas District 12 Little League Baseball and others.
