Nine residents from Hardin County were named to the Dean's List of Academic Honors at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville.
They are undergraduates who have achieved a grade point average of at least 3.5 out of a perfect 4.0 in all work attempted while enrolled in not less than 12 semester hours. The university would like to recognize the following students for earning the honor for the Spring 2022 semester.
Named to the Dean’s List were Jacquelynn Jackson of Batson; Tanner Leblanc of Lumberton; Denisha Dodis, Carley Jones, Christopher Lemus Talavera, Bailey Mills and Derek Powell of Silsbee; Haley Boone and Gabrielle Neale of Sour Lake.
The college also released the names of local residents who were named to the President’s List for undergraduates who have achieved a perfect 4.0 grade point average in all work attempted while enrolled in not less than 12 semester hours.
They were Denisha Dodis, Bailey Mills and Derek Powell of Silsbee; and Haley Boone of Sour Lake.
