The Stark House at 610 Main Ave. in Orange is inviting patrons to “Hands – On History: Kids 100 Years Ago” on Friday, July 22, with two sessions, 10:30 a.m. to noon, and 1-2:30 p.m.

Come with your little learners and explore how kids lived 100 years ago. This free program is designed for children ages 5-9 and their grown-ups and features hands-on activities and an interactive look inside The W.H. Stark House. The 14,000 square-foot home in Orange, stands much as it did during the early 20th century with the W.H. Stark family’s original collections and operates today as a history programming venue.

Miriam and William Stark’s home from 1894-1936 features incredible woodwork from this American lumber dynasty. Designed with innovative technology and furnished with art, rare books, and treasures from their travels, the Stark House is a testament to local craftsmanship and ingenuity.
