Four injured in Vidor shooting

Vidor Police Department was called to the 100 block of Hebert Street on April 4 in reference to shots fired. 

Upon their arrival, officers found four victims that had been struck in the gunfire. All victims were treated on scene and transported to a Beaumont hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The shooter had left the scene prior to officers' arrival but was later located and detained.

The preliminary investigation showed the victims and shooter had a prior relationship. The investigation is ongoing but Vidor PD said there is not continuing threat to the community.
