Fentanyl, bullying topics of future LISD meeting

Lumberton ISD will host a second Safety and Security Town Hall Meeting at 6:30 p.m., Monday, Jan. 23, at the Performing Arts Center.

Discussion of LISD Safety and Security will include an update and identifying potential threats early, along with an overview of Devereux Student Strengths Assessment (DESSA), bullying, counseling, fentanyl, threat assessment and discipline.

The speakers are Superintendent Dr. Tony Tipton; Director of Safety, Security and Student Services Tim Lane; Shelli Reyes of LISD Special Program-DESSA; and principals, counselors and nurses.
