Crowds rove downtown for artist event

City buildings came to life as 17 artists participating in Beaumont’s Mural Festival officially started working on their masterpieces throughout downtown the weekend of March 4. The flourishing mural scene took center stage as they transformed Beaumont into one of the most colorful cities in Texas.

The festival was presented by Pour09 Rooftop Bar and Grill,  in collaboration with artist and educator J Muzacz. The Beaumont Convention and Visitors Bureau and dozens of local businesses assisted in helping support the event.
