Beaumont Public Health releases additional COVID info

Today, March 27, the Beaumont Public Health Department received confirmation of two positive cases of coronavirus disease 2019 bringing the current number to 10. The individuals are both Beaumont residents. One is between 30-40 years old and the other is between 50-60.

Of the previous eight cases: One was between 20-30, two between 35-45, one between 55-65, three between 65-75 and one between 70-80.

Eight of the confirmed cases have been associated with travel. Two are still under investigation. 

Eight individuals are recuperating at home and two are hospitalized.
