Happy holiday weekend
The socials spent the Memorial Day weekend celebrating their freedoms with friends and family. Many enjoyed lake living, frolicking at the beach, traditions and backyard barbeques while others stayed poolside in their own backyards. Joy and Will Crenshaw have traveled to Wimberley for many years and the trip has truly become a family tradition. Daughter Heather Petkovsek, her sons Jack and Mark Jr., Beverly and Will Crenshaw, Uncle John and son Cory Crenshaw, as well as Gina, Charleston, Mary Virginia and Colby Crenshaw, along with several other family members round out the clan who convened in the Hill Country. Lake Rayburn was the choice of Lisa and Brent Coon, Melissa and Martin Edwards, Kate and Rod Carroll, Sherry and Rick Weaver, Shelley and Andy Duke. Janey Phelan and hubby Michael welcomed their crew every year (And the family seems to grow larger every other year). Enjoying the sunny beach weather were Dynasy and Lan Phelan, Keely and Ted Smith, Michelle and Cammy Phelan, Mattie and John Beaver, Jennifer and Mark Phelan and all their offspring. Celia Crittenden and Patricia Thorp reminisced about their many days down by the Bolivar shore. The Beaver fam, D’awn and Jeff, welcomed several of their family, which included Heather and Bobby and Katie and Jeff Beaver, who rounded out the group.
Ladies who lunch… many gathered at the home of Natasha Garrett for the Symphony League of Beaumont annual meeting and luncheon recently. Thrilled with the delicious meal and playing conversational catchup were Shelley Duke, Marianne Byrnes, Hillary Shanning, Susan Lampson, Stephanie Gertz, Gigi Mazzola, Lauren Martin, Amber Barrington, Kirksey Reynolds, Rinai Doshi, Odile Silva, Shanna Briggs, Past President Kate Davis, and current League President Karen Babineaux, and too many more to mention!
