With five consecutive hit singles, which includes their breakthrough massive smash “Judas” that reached Gold Record status of 500,000 units sold, national rock act Fozzy returns to Houston on Friday, April 29, and will perform at Warehouse Live with doors opening at 6 p.m.

Featuring vocalist Chris Jericho, who is also a massive wrestling star for AEW, the versatile Rich Ward on guitar and vocals, PJ Farley on bass, Billy Grey on guitar, and Grand Brooks on the drums, this version of Fozzy is clicking on all cylinders and they are bringing a brand-new record with them.

With hits such as “Sin and Bones,” “Sandpaper, “Do You Wanna Start a War,” “Judas,” “Painless” and “Burn Me Out,” Fozzy has built up quite the resume.

Fozzy’s eighth studio release, “Boombox,” will be released May 6, and we are here to you tell you – this is our absolute favorite Fozzy record. The first single, “Nowhere to Run,” has already hit rock radio’s Top 10 and the follow-up, “Sane,” which is also the album’s opening track, has landed at No. 8 (It’s currently our fav of the 12 tracks).

Tickets are still available online at warehouselive.com or at the door. Warehouse Live is located at 813 St. Emmanuel St. near Minute Maid Park. Opening acts are The Nocturnal Affair, Krash Karma, GFM and John 5.

I spoke with Jericho about the new album, recording the “Sane” music video on a roller coaster and the importance of rock radio.
