Man sentenced to prison for fondling 11 year old

Criminal District Attorney Bob Wortham announced July 22 that a jury found Percy Andrepont, 68, guilty of two counts of indecency with a child. Judge Raquel West sentenced Andrepont to serve 50 years in prison on each count after hearing punishment evidence from an additional victim.

July 13, detectives with the Port Arthur Police Department were assisted by the Jefferson County Warrant Division in arrest 24-year-old Lace Skyler Christian for the murder of Russell Vernon Reado. Reado was killed May 10.

After reviewing evidence that a 24-year-old Beaumont Municipal Airport employee allegedly posted and downloaded more than 100 videos and photos of children being sexually assaulted, a Jefferson County grand jury indicted a Port Neches man on 10 counts of child pornography.
