Narcotics investigation nabs six suspects

After responding to a “suspected narcotics transaction” just outside Beaumont’s city limits on Highway 90 Wednesday, Dec. 1, Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) deputies arrested six Southeast Texans and seized approximately $12,000 in cash, a bevy of drugs and several weapons over two days.

BPD investigates shooting death

Just before 5 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 9, Beaumont Police Department (BPD) officers responded to the 1300 block of Edwin Street in reference to a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located the victim, identified as 18-year-old Dwyndell Perrault Jr.
