Two local emergency medical technicians (EMTs), Cierra Nixon and Logan Butts, were named as two of the 127 medics of the American Ambulance Association’s (AAA) Stars of Life for 2023. Nixon, Acadian Ambulance’s Paramedic and EMT of the Year, works out of Orange County.
