As coronavirus threat looms large over universities, UT president explains why his isn't going online-only

A crush of Texas universities announced this week that they are moving to online classes after spring break to avoid spread of the new coronavirus, but the University of Texas at Austin will continue to offer at least some in-person instruction.

Parkdale Mall postpones events, remains open

Beaumont's Parkdale Mall has postponed all planned events until further notice in light of the coronavirus spread. The mall will still be open, but events like the seasonal Easter Bunny photo-op will be postponed.

Stark Cultural Venues cancels, postpones special programs
