SETX infusion center temporarily closed

The Southeast Texas Infusion Center will be closed temporarily until the center receives another allocation of the monoclonal infusion therapy, Sotrovomab, according to Jefferson County Judge, Jeff Branick.  Branick anticipates another shipment Thursday morning, Feb.

BPD releases name of teen killed in motorcycle crash

The Beaumont Police Department is investigating a motorcycle crash that killed a 15-year old Saturday. According to a report by BPD, officers responded to a crash Feb. 5 at 11 a.m. involving a 2019 Honda CB300R and a 2012 Cadillac.

Beaumont Feb. 4 COVID-19 update

The City of Beaumont released their COVID-19 daily report Feb. 4, outlining case numbers and vaccination rates in the area.  As of Feb. 4, there are 82 new COVID-19 cases in the Beaumont area, with 77 new cases in Beaumont, two in China and Fannett, and one in Hamshire, according to the report.
