Beaumont police have arrested a third suspect allegedly connected to a string of more than 20 storage unit burglaries, according to a Feb. 25 news release from the Beaumont Police Department (BPD).

Following the Feb. 3 arretests of 46-year-old Danny Mouton and 27-year-old Dilan Garcia-Rodrigue, BPD officers learned an additional suspect, identified as Beaumont resident Rudy Rodriguez, 25, was also involved in numerous burglaries. The trio burglarized more than 20 units at multiple facilities in Beaumont and one in Port Arthur, according to BPD’s investigation.

Garcia, Mouton and Rodriguez were taken into custody and transported to BPD to speak with detectives. The investigations are on-going, however additional charges of burglary and engaging in organized criminal activity are scheduled to be filed with the District Attorney’s Office next week.
