Free fun with Sonny and friends

The Museum of the Gulf Coast, 700 Procter St. in Port Arthur, is having a free Christmas Family Fun Day on Saturday, Dec. 12, from 10 a.m. -2 p.m. The event will be outdoors, and social distancing guidelines will be in effect.

Experiences on-hand for the day will include horses brought by Stable Spirit, snake education, pictures with Santa, face painting, Christmas stories by Port Arthur librarian Carolyn Thibodeaux, a parrot performance by Sonny the Birdman of America’s Got Talent notoriety, and special guests that include firefighters (and their truck) and Charitable Force’s Darth Vader, Chewbacca and Kylo Ren.
