The Beaumont Health Department Nov. 17 confirmed 68 new cases of COVID-19 within the city. Beaumont has confirmed 460 new cases in November so far.
Beaumont Baptist Hospital’s Dr. Qamar Arfeen told The Examiner cases contracted on Halloween are just starting to appear. Arfeen worries Southeast Texans have become too relaxed in their response to the virus which he says has crippled families.
