Jefferson County seal

After the 2:30 p.m. National Weather Service call Tuesday, Jan. 28, Jefferson County made the decision to reopen all its offices at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 29. If conditions do not improve enough Wednesday morning for roads to properly clear, then that 1 p.m. opening could change, the Jefferson County Office of Emergency Management and Homeland Security said in a press release.
