Orange police are looking for the person or person responsible for a burglary that took place sometime during the night of Dec. 8 or in the early morning hours of Dec. 9 at Gary’s Coffee Shop.

A Beaumont man is in the Jefferson County Jail after police say they caught him in the act of burglarizing a home. 

According to a BPD press release, Frank Sinatra Collier, 33, was arrested by police after a witness saw him break a window and enter a home in the 1300 block of Galway. 

When police arrived, Collier waved at officers from inside the home before he fled out the back door, according to the press release.

Boo Boo

A 53-year-old Port Arthur man who goes by the name "Boo Boo" made the mistake of being seen by police after stealing a flat screen television from a Third Street home Sept. 22.

Sunday evening around 5:30 p.m., police spotted a man on a bicycle carrying a small flat screen television in the 3600 block of Procter Street in Port Arthur.

Police in Orange are currently investigating a burglary that happened sometime Friday, Sept. 6, while the victim was gone. He reported that, among other items, his gold, jeweled wedding ring and his wife's gold Virgin Mary pendant were missing from his residence in the 1000 block of Clairmont Drive.

A pastor in Orange reported he was the victim of a weekend theft at his church, Full Gospel Holy Temple in the 1400 block of Ninth Street, just after 7 a.m. Saturday morning. Police say the burglary occurred sometime overnight from Friday evening to Saturday morning.

A 12-year-old boy in Port Arthur locked himself in a bedroom and called police when he heard strange noises outside his home Tuesday afternoon, Aug. 20. When police arrived, they arrested two men who were apparently attempting to burglarize the boy’s home.

Officers with the Orange Police Department are currently investigating a burglary that occurred sometime between 5 and 10 p.m. Friday, Aug. 16, in the 1000 block of Clairmont Drive in Orange.

According to a news release from the Orange County Sheriff's Office, an armed homeowner confronted two people he caught attempting to burglarize his home.

Vonte Shakur Williams

Vonte Shakur Williams, a 20-year-old Beaumont resident, is wanted on two outstanding burglary warrants.  Both warrants are felonies that carry bonds of $150,000 each. Beaumont police consider him a violent offender, and he has been arrested him in the past while in possession of a handgun. He often drives a 2008 Honda Civic bearing Texas license plate CB1S825.

Police in Orange are currently investigating a burglary of a residence in the 400 block of Azalea Street that happened sometime Wednesday night or early Thursday morning.
