A Port Arthur man is dead following a fatal accident between a motorcycle and an SUV that occurred Dec. 12 in the 3700 block of Memorial Boulevard in Port Arthur.

Texas Department of Public Safety Troopers are investigating a fatal accident involving an SUV and an 18-wheeler that occurred in Hardin County on Highway 96 near the Hardin-Jasper county line on Dec. 14 at about 6 p.m.

Three children and two adults were transported to the hospital following a two-vehicle crash on Highway 87 just north of Deweyville Wednesday, Oct. 1.

Texas Department of Public Safety Trooper Stephanie Davis said the crash occurred around 6 a.m.

The Beaumont Police Department is investigating a fatal accident that left one man dead last night.

An Orange woman died in a single-car accident over the weekend, police report.

According to a news release from the Orange Police Department, on Sunday, May 4, the officers responded to the report of a one-vehicle traffic accident in the 11000 block of FM 1130.  Officers found that a white Ford truck had left the roadway, flipped, and then struck a telephone pole.  The driver was thrown from the vehicle, and was pronounced deceased at the accident scene by Judge Derry Dunn.  Evidence suggests that the driver was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.

A mother and son were injured in a single-vehicle rollover accident on Cooks Lake Road in Lumberton on Tuesday afternoon, April 29, at about 3:50 p.m., DPS reports.

One person is dead as the result of a two-vehicle accident this morning, Trooper Stephanie Davis reports.

According to a news release from DPS, troopers were dispatched to West Port Arthur Road at South Garden Road in Jefferson County at approximately 5:45 a.m. on Tuesday, April 22. The investigation is in its preliminary stages and more information will be released as it becomes available, Trooper Davis reports.

Ten-year-old Tyvone Joseph Washington of Port Arthur died as the result of a weekend auto-pedestrian accident in the 8500 block of Memorial Boulevard in Port Arthur on March 29 at close to 10 p.m.., police report. The boy was reportedly going home from the mall.
