CCS doubles tennis team wins TAPPS State Championship

On April 26, the Community Christian School’s High School doubles tennis team, comprised of seniors Matthew McAfee and Brett Foster, won the TAPPS State Championship for the fourth year in a row, ending the boys’ senior year with a bang!  The State Championship was held at the Waco Tennis Center in Waco, Texas. The boys beat Southcrest from Lubbock with scores of 6-2, 6-1 and Lifestyle Christian from Conroe with a scores of 6-4, 6-2. Finally, McAfee and Foster went up against St. Stephens of Houston, winning with scores of 6-2, 6-3, and their championship match was against Plainview Christian with a score of 6-4, 6-4.
