Wedding ring, pendant stolen in Orange burglary

Police in Orange are currently investigating a burglary that happened sometime Friday, Sept. 6, while the victim was gone. He reported that, among other items, his gold, jeweled wedding ring and his wife's gold Virgin Mary pendant were missing from his residence in the 1000 block of Clairmont Drive.

According to the police report, officers responded to the victim's call regarding the burglary at approximately 11:30 p.m. The victim told police he left his house at about 1:20 p.m. and everything was in order at that time. He reported that, upon his return, a window air conditioning unit was missing, and the victim believed that's how the unknown suspect or suspects entered his home. Among the missing items reported were the previously mentioned jewelry, a 9 mm Smith and Wesson Sigma, a women's Armitron wristwatch, 50-inch Sanyo television, a Hewlett-Packard laptop computer, two Nintendo DX gaming consoles that belonged to his children, and a second window unit still in the new packaging.
