Orange resident arrested after using profanity

A woman in Orange was arrested for disorderly conduct Saturday, March 16, after using profanity at the Pilot gas station at 2205 Hwy. 62.

According to a report from the Orange Police Department, police received a call at approximately 3:20 a.m. Saturday regarding a disturbance at the Pilot station. OPD Officer James Davis reported several subjects were involved in a verbal altercation. According to his account, he made contact with 34-year-old Orange resident Spirit Lea Johnson who was involved in the disturbance. Davis reported Johnson was "irritated and very uncooperative" when he spoke to her. He went on to report that the woman was using language he described as "vulgar, profane and indecent...that by it's very utterance tended to incite and immediate breach of peace" that could be heard by patrons of the business.

Johnson was arrested for Class C disorderly conduct and taken to the Orange County Jail.
