Noise complaint leads to arrest in Orange

Orange Police arrested a man Sunday morning after the man failed to identify himself and attempted to evade arrest when authorities were investigating a noise complaint at his home.

Police responded to a call regarding a loud disturbance at 1514 Lindenwood Dr. in Orange at approximately 6:05 a.m., according to the police report. OPD officer Jareb Logan reported he made contact with a white male at the residence where the noise could be heard. The man was uncooperative and refused to identify himself. According to police, the man became physically aggressive and was forced to the ground. Police arrested 54-year-old John Harlan Cotten for failure to identify, resisting detention and city ordinance noise violation for loud music.
