Fugitive sought after indictment on serious charge
The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Warrant Division is requesting the assistance of the public in locating a dangerous wanted fugitive, Xavier Jud Sinegal, 26.
Sinegal is 5-feet-10 and weights about 195 pounds
He was indicted on a charge of burglary of a habitation with intent to commit a sexual offense. Jan. 8, 2013, Beaumont Police responded to a burglary in progress in the 600 Block of Euclid. The caller advised a black male wearing a black skull cap, black jacket, black shirt and dark colored jeans had entered her residence through a window. Police located Sinegal in the area asnd said he matched the description. During a search of the subject, officers located a 5-inch fixed blade knife, crow bar, several feet of rope, “KY” lubricant and a cotton sock. Sinegal was arrested at this time but was released on bond and is now wanted since his indictment.
Sinegal is to be considered armed and dangerous. No attempt should be made to attempt to detain him. Anyone with information of his location is requested to contact Crime Stoppers at (409) 833-8477. Crime Stoppers will pay up to $1,000 for information leading to the location and arrest of Sinegal or any wanted fugitive.
