Burglary in Orange

Orange Police received a call about another burglary in a series of break-ins plaguing the city.

OPD Officer Tim Pruitt reported that he was dispatched to 560 Lilac St. in Orange Monday afternoon, Feb. 11 at approximately 1:28 p.m. in reference to a burglary at the residence. Upon arrival, Officer Pruitt met with a male victim who said his wife was the last to leave home that morning at approximately 7 a.m. He told the officer he had arrived home at approximately 1:24 p.m. and called the police after finding that his home had been burglarized. The man reported he was missing a laptop computer, 2 pairs of size 10 1/2 men's Nike Air Jordan shoes, one pair red and white low-tops and the other pair Retro-style red and black.

Officer Pruitt reported he observed the double doors on the north side of the house had been tampered with and a pane f glass was shattered. He stated he believed the suspect exited through the west patio doors of the residence. No suspects have been located at this time. The investigaton is ongoing.
