BPD recognizes Jon Reaud for his leadership of the 100 Club of Southeast Texas
Since its inception, the 100 Club of Southeast Texas has stepped up to support the families of fallen brothers and sisters in law enforcement.
At the Feb. 13 meeting of the Board of Directors of the 100 Club of Southeast Texas, Chief James Singletary presented immediate past president Jon Reaud with a plaque of appreciation from the Beaumont Police Department for the service, leadership and vision Reaud provided the 100 Club during his term as president.
Singletary cited Reaud for "taking initiative to restore and revitalize relationships between local law enforcement and the 100 Club."
In a press release, the department said it sincerely appreciates this non-profit organization and its efforts to support the surviving spouses and dependent children of police officers and firefighters killed in the line of duty.
