50 years of service to Southeast Texas

The City of Beaumont recognized the Better Business Bureau of Southeast Texas Tuesday, Feb. 26, for 50 years of service to Southeast Texas businesses. “I want to compliment the Better Business Bureau,” said Councilmember W.L. Pate during the time allotted for councilmember comments. “They do a great job for our community and have really progressed over the last 50 years.”

“Our mission is to be a leader in advancing marketplace trust,” said John Paschall, CEO of the Better Business Bureau of Southeast Texas, in an interview with The Examiner. “What we’ve tried to do in the past 50 years is to create a marketplace where consumers and businesses can trust each other, and to help consumers find businesses that they can trust. Our vision is to help develop a next generation of educated and ethical consumers and business leaders.”
