BEAUMONT, Texas – Monique Whittaker scored 15 points to lead the Lamar University women’s basketball team to a 67-58 win over visiting Ole Miss in a non-conference game Tuesday night.

ATHENS, Ohio – Lamar University got 20 points from Mike James, and 18 from Charlie Harper on Tuesday night at the Convocation Center, but it was not enough as Ohio University outlasted the Cardinals for an 85-78 overtime basketball victory.
