President George H.W. Bush signed the Americans with Disabilities Act into law July 26, 1990, and with its passage, discrimination against persons with disabilities was made criminal in hopes it would begin to diminish. Now, 25 years later, persons with disabilities, along with the rest of the nation, are celebrating the anniversary of that momentous occasion and a local fair is being held to raise awareness of ADA law.
