A federal jury has convicted a 60-year-old Lumberton, Texas man of child pornography violations in the Eastern District of Texas, announced U.S. Attorney John M. Bales on Firday, Feb. 28.

Port Arthur resident Theodore Hardie, 31, has been sentenced to a term of 20 years in the state penitentiary and fined $10,000.00 in connection with a 2012 case where the defendant and his brother plotted to retaliate against the wife of a witness slated to testify in a Hardin County home invasion aggravated robbery announced Criminal District Attorney Cory Crenshaw. The Texas Department of Transportation today announced the launch of a new Web-based  Crash Report Online Purchase System that allows the public to immediately access vehicle crash reports. Filed with TxDOT by law enforcement agencies, these reports often are requested by individuals seeking documentation of a crash.
