Concerts cruise on, SETX comes together for Jerry LaCroix
 | You can't say that Southeast Texans don't care after hundreds of Jerry LaCroix fans and dozens of musicians cruised to Crockett Street in downtown Beaumont recently and helped raise more than $10,000 for the ailing blue-eyed soul legend. When news first broke that the legendary Chubby Checker will be appearing at the Texas Longhorn Club in Vinton, La., on Friday, Aug. 13, I found myself reminiscing back to my early childhood.
