Delta Downs welcomes six-time Grammy Award winning country singer Ronnie Milsap on Saturday, March 22, at 7 p.m. Tickets for this 21-and-older show are $30 or $25 and can be purchased at the venue or ticketmaster. com.

The 71-year-old musician is third behind George Strait and Conway Twitty with forty No. 1 chart toppers. Just a few of his classics are “Pure Love,” “Daydreams About Night Things,” “(I’m A) Stand by My Woman Man,” “It Was Almost Like a Song,” “Nobody Likes Sad Songs,” “What Goes On When the Sun Goes Down,” “Smokey Mountain Rain,” “Any Day Now,” “(There’s) No Getting’ Over Me,” “Stranger In My House,” “I Wouldn’t Have Missed it for the World,” “Lost in the Fifties Tonight” and “She Keeps the Home Fires Burning.” Born with a congenital disorder, Milsap was fully blind by the age of 5, but began studying music a few years later, which led to a full-time career and a spot in the Grand Ole Opry. Delta Downs is in nearby Vinton, La.
