Keystone Crawfish Boil

Keystone Crawfish Boil

The Greater Beaumont Chamber of Commerce partnered with the American Petroleum Institute for a crawfish boil at the downtown Event Centre on Thursday evening, April 18. Hundreds of letters of support addressed to the State Department were signed seeking the permit to approve construction of the Keystone XL pipeline. Black Schroeder, a journeyman welder and business agent for Pipeliners Local 798 for the state of Texas, spoke at the event (right) and posed for photos with Keystone pipeline supporters (above). Also present was John Johnson, who is running for Port Commissioner for the Port of Beaumont,   and his girlfriend, Angela Sawyer (left).
