It’s time for the Garth House’s 25th annual Pour Les Enfants on Thursday, Nov. 19, beginning at 6 p.m. at the Garth House at 1895 McFadden Ave. in Beaumont. Tickets start at $100. Enjoy a fantastic dinner along with chances to take home some wonderful items in the live and silent auction, all for a good cause. Proceeds benefit the Garth House, Mickey Mehaffy Children’s Advocacy Program.

Hollywood acting coach and author Chambers Stevens will bring his expertise to Beaumont with a pair of acting workshops: an advanced commercial workshop for kids and young adults that will include a showcase in front of a panel of local producers, and a Hollywood 101 workshop for kids on the Disney and Nickelodeon style of acting.

Rocketoberfest returns to the Jefferson Theatre in downtown Beaumont (345 Fannin) on Friday, Oct. 30 with gates opening at 5:30 p.m. This indoor/outdoor event features live music, food and craft beer for ages 18 years and older. Tickets are $10. Opening the festivities on the outdoor stage will be Austin trio MegaFauna at 6 p.m. Performing at 9 p.m.
