Las Vegas just got a little bit closer to Southeast Texas. The Golden Nugget casino, known throughout Sin City for its saucy shows, five-star lodging, top-notch table games, the best in entertainment, and the hottest slot action in town, has finally made its long-awaited Lake Charles debut. The 290-acre casino and resort is owner Tilman Fertitta’s fifth. He purchased the Las Vegas Golden Nugget in 2005.


When Raising Cane’s founder and CEO Todd Graves came up with the idea to open a restaurant that sells only chicken tenders, people were less than supportive. College professors, as well as loan managers, weren’t sold on the idea and were skeptical of a business plan revolving around such a niche market.

The three amigos of mayhem are together again, and it’s a second verse same as the first scenario with the same kind of ribald, adult humor that brought attention to the 2011 opener — and not in a good way.
