Port Arthur resident Vincent Lamar Williams, 57, has been found guilty of aggravated sexual assault by a Jefferson County jury and sentenced to 20 years in prison announced Criminal District Attorney Cory Crenshaw in a press release, Oct. 6. Williams was found guilty on Oct. 3, 2014, for sexually assaulting a Port Arthur resident in her home on Jan. 3, 2003.  The trial was held in the Criminal District Court, Judge John Stevens presiding.

His campaign signs and advertisements always label Tom Rugg a Republican, and he often proudly wears the signature “Republican red.”  He poses with his fellow Republican candidates with the hope of fooling the red party faithful.

The westbound bridge over Hillebrandt Bayou on Phelan Boulevard between Belvedere and Kennedy drives appears to be in pretty bad shape and unstable due to cracks in the concrete and exposed reinforcements in the main structural components.

There are cracks in two caps on the abutments supporting the I-beams and a third cap appears to be completely broken off, fully exposing the steel reinforcements.
