Two former Beaumont Independent School District employees pleaded guilty in federal court April 14 to allegations of embezzling or conspiring to embezzle more than $4 million dollars from the local school district.
UPDATE: At about 7 p.m. Thursday, April 17, 2014, acting on a Crime Stoppers Tip, fugitive task force members located and arrested Cody Lewis in Pennington, Texas, about 157 miles northeast of Beaumont just off U.S. 287.
