ExxonMobil Beaumont Complex flaring in background of Port of Beaumont

Fire and smoke billowing into downtown Beaumont’s dreary dark afternoon sky about 3 p.m. Thursday afternoon, Jan. 21, caused citizen alarm and Lamar University to suspend classes. The emissions were generated from the ExxonMobil Beaumont Complex, according to company Public and Government Affairs Manager Lee Dula.

Crystalette is such a beauty! Her white coat shines like a diamond. She is the kind of dog that has to been queen of the castle. This little girl likes to run to keep her trim figure, so she will require a fully fenced yard and would do best in a home with no young children. With a Queen B attitude, she will be the dominate dog of the household. But that does not mean she doesn’t like play; she loves her two temporary brothers that reside in the same foster home.

If all the resources available to the U.S. Attorney’s Office were channeled to solely combat child exploitation, there still wouldn’t be enough manpower to adequately bring all the perpetrators to justice, according to Eastern District of Texas U.S. Attorney’s Office Criminal Chief Alan Jackson.

LifeShare Blood Center Manager Carol Sims reports the Beaumont facility is running critically low on blood and blood components, and the center desperately needs donations from community members to ensure that area hospitals dependent upon those life-saving supplies will have access to them.
